This post is all about Disney Cruise Line’s fleet of cruise ships. Chart a course toward this high seas breakdown of Disney’s stunning ships. This is not meant to be a comprehensive list of EVERY thing you can do on board each ship. However, this rundown should give you a good sense of what each ship has to offer.

Disney currently has six ships in operation with two under construction. All 8 Disney cruise ships are examined below (Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, Disney Destiny, Disney Adventure).       • Animator’s Palate: Watch the walls come to life with animation as you dine! This one is always a favorite. It serves Asian, Pacific Islands, and California cuisine.
      • Quick Food: Cabanas buffet has 10 food stations with a cafe-style beverage bar. You can get gyros, shawarma, burgers, hot dogs, tacos, and chicken fingers from the Duck-In Diner. Pinocchio’s Pizza is always serving up slices on the pool deck. Get soft serve from Eye Scream Treats or a smoothie from Frozone Treats.

        • AquaLab: An 18,000 square foot water playground with waterslide, geysers, spouts, pipes, and wheels.
      • Deck Parties & Fireworks: Most itineraries will have at-sea night time fireworks.
      • Sports & Recreation: Wide World of Sports area has basketball courts, ping pong tables, and activities. There is a 400-yard jogging/walking track on the Promenade Deck. Shuffleboard.
      • Buena Vista Theatre: You can watch classic movies and sometimes first-run movies in this Hollywood-styled theatre.
      • Characters: Disney characters will pop up at deck parties, in restaurants, and just walking around the ship. There are also scheduled times for character encounters.
      • Seasonal Days at Sea: Some sailings for your Disney cruise will include Halloween and Christmas theming on at-sea days (mid September through end of year).

    • Lounges, Nightclubs, & Bars: The Soul Cat Lounge jazz nightclub has a dance floor and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Other locations include O’Gills Pub (sports and Irish-inspired), Keys (piano bar), and Fathoms (nightclub).
    • Senses Spa & Salon: Book a beauty treatment, relaxing massage, or spa therapy to unwind.
    • Palo: This adults-only restaurant serves Italian food with a modern take and a large selection of Italian wines.
    • Quiet Cove Pool: Adult-exclusive pool area with 2 whirlpool spas, Signals pool bar, and Cove Cafe.
    • Fitness Center: Work out while enjoying the ocean view. Use the fitness equipment or sign up for one of the aerobics, yoga, or pilates classes. Personal trainers are also available.
  • For the Kids
    • Marvel Super Hero Academy: For kids ages 3-10–arts, crafts, video games, Super Hero visits.
    • Oceaneer Club: Kids ages 3-10 get to play, create, and do all kinds of activities in an Andy’s Room-themed area.
    • Vibe: Older kids (14-17) can hang out in the Forward Funnel on the Magic and listen to music, watch movies, socialize, play VR games, and more.
    • Edge: For kids aged 11-14, there’s a boiler-room themed lounge where they can watch TV, play video games, dance or do other activities like karaoke, arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, and more.
    • Nursery: Smaller tykes from 6 months to 3 years can relax in the “it’s a small world” nursery with specially trained cast members.
    • Royal Court Royal Tea: For kids aged 3-12, this event features herbal teas with sweet and savory small bites. They will get a special keepsake gift. Disney Princesses will be there too!
