This post is all about one of the cutest Disney souvenirs to come out lately. Of course, understand that I (Julie) am a bit biased as I have an affinity for the Disney trash can. But really, this thing is just too cute!
First, let me show you my current collection of Disney trash can salt and pepper shakers:
I remember when we saw them for the first time at Marketplace Co-op at Disney Springs back in 2016. Fell in love instantly! Then this year during the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot, we added to our collection with Orange Bird and Spike the Bee!
So when we saw this post on Disney Parks Instagram page, well….let’s just say a new item got very quickly added to the Disney souvenirs bucket list:
I mean, come on!!! They have swinging lids and a flip open top! They’re available while supplies last. This week is our Disney trip, so if we are able to snag one (it just says later in May), we are definitely bragging about it online!
How to Get Yours
Here’s what you need to know:
- you have to buy at least 1/2 pound of bulk candy to qualify to purchase a trash can souvenir
- grab your bulk candy and your trash can, check out, then AFTER that you can put your candy in the bin
- limit 2 containers per guest/transaction
- six locations to purchase from
- Main Street Confectionary in Magic Kingdom
- Zuri’s Sweets Shop in Animal Kingdom
- Screen Door General Store at Boardwalk Inn
- Meadow Trading Post at The Campsites at Fort Wilderness
- Goofy’s Candy Company at Disney Springs
- Disney Candy Cauldron at Disney Springs
Julie will be so bin-credibly sad if they are not launched during our May 2025 trip. But, hopefully more of these cuties will be coming in the future.
