This post is all about our latest Disney Subscription Box.

We are currently receiving the Bibbidi Classic box from bibbidiboxes.com. We received the April 2025 box during the first week of May and did our very first Disney Subscription box unboxing! You can watch the actual unboxing video here (it’s short!).

One of the great features about Bibbidi Boxes (and why we chose to start with them) is that you can customize your box. You can choose to have a female, male, or “mix it up” theme of items. You can choose a variety of price points to fit your budget. And you can choose whether to be completely surprised with your box’s contents or pick items that you want (and even then, you can choose to just favorite items or actually pick the exact items for an upcoming box).

Let’s dive into how it works.

First, you’ll choose your subscription. Bibbidi Boxes has several fandoms to choose from, including Disney, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Marvel.

Second, once you’ve chosen your box, gender preference (if any), and price point. you’ll set more detailed preferences in a questionnaire that asks for likes and dislikes. Like, if you hate Stitch (aka “The Blue Goblin” according to some) you can say, “please no Stitch items.”

The third step is the most difficult. It’s the part where you have to wait for them to curate your box and then wait again for it to arrive! Initial orders received before the 15th of the month will ship that month. (We ordered on April 12 and it shipped on April 30). Initial orders received after the 15th of the month will ship during the following month’s shipping cycle.

Fourth, UNBOX THAT THING when it comes to your door!

What We Got

The first item we unwrapped is a Loungefly Peter Pan wallet. It features the Loungefly and Disney logo on one side with the London skyline. And the other side highlights the iconic scene where Peter Pan and Tinker Bell guide the Darling kids toward Neverland. I love the detail of the matching themed lining inside the pockets. There’s a zippered change purse and ample room for cash or notes behind the credit card slots.

The second item we unwrapped in our Disney subscription box is a Classic Mickey head balloon pin. I don’t remember if we favorited this one or not, but it should look nice on our Disney lanyards or our backpacks! I’m sure the Bibbidi staff grabs smaller items to fill up your budgeted box amount. Makes sense.

The next item is the adorable Piglet ball cap. Piglet is so adorable and Julie loves the simple design of this cap. It has an adjustable strap on the back and fits nicely. Julie loves the unique “fuzzy” fabric.

Finally, an oversized Toy Story Pizza Planet mug. If you can look at the Little Green Men without saying “The claaawwww” you’re probably not as big a Disney fan as we are! This mug is going on Julie’s desk!

Our Thoughts

We chose to pick favorites so that there might be some mystery as to which items would be chosen. We feel like that’s a good mix of curating what we like while still keeping some excitement during the unboxing. And it was nice not to know exactly what was coming.

While it was fun to open our first box, we realized we wanted more. We also would love to start collecting those adorable Loungefly backpacks and, as they are usually higher ticket items, it would have taken up most of our budgeted box. So we have since upgraded our box to receive more items. However, our next shipment is locked in at the initial rate, so we won’t get the upgraded box until the month after that.

So far we’re having fun and have already indicated our favorites for the next box!
